A New Idea

I love how creating this blog has motivated me to read more. I am currently reading Anthem by Ayn Rand, and it is pretty interesting so far!

But.... I have a new idea for this blog!

Reviewing EVERYTHING!!!!!
... from movies to books to... internet websites? Introducing news articles... cute bags? make up tips and clarinet stuff. =D Also, I will open the reading list to books in the non-fiction area like self-help and cooking (???).

~*~

Hopefully this idea will be the success I hope it becomes. For now, I have 2 new reviews for you!

Review #1: Restaurant
Restaurant: The Tofu House/Book Chang Dong on Pleasant Hill
Type: Asian, Korean food
4.50 out of 5.0

The tofu soups here are delicious (see image on left)! They serve it to you when the soup is still bubbling so you can still crack a raw egg into the concoction and still have it cook. For only $8.02, you get a pretty big bowl of rice with peas on top, a bowl of tofu soup of your choice (kimchi beef, veggie dumpling, pork, seafood, etc.), 1 egg, and loads of mini dishes like pickled broccoli/sprouts/kimichi and even fish! The food is amazing, and I definitely recommend trying this little restaurant out!

Review #2: Movie
Movie: Slumdog Millionaire
Rated: R
4.0 out of 5.0

One first glance, Slumdog Millionaire appears to be a strange, shallow movie. I mean, the plot is about a boy who gets on Who Wants to be a Millionaire in order to find the girl of his dreams. After watching it, you find the plot to be much more complex than that simple summary, and the action is not bad either. I definitely recommend watching this with a friend since it can be a pretty sad story at times.
